What is Lottie?

It’s a wildly popular, relatively new vector animation format used by tech giants such as Google, Twitter… The main advantages of Lottie is its small file size and the ability to edit the animation online, without any software or app.

What file formats will I receive?

Each animation is zipped into an archive that contains the original Adobe After Effects project file, the actual Lottie in JSON format and a direct link to the online editor so you can start editing the animations immediately.

Please note: file formats may vary for different animations. It is always listed on the product page.

What are the licensing details?

By purchasing animations LottieFolder grants you an ongoing, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license. You may use, reproduce, perform, display, transmit the content. All rights to the animations are expressly reserved by LottieFolder for itself. You may not resell, share in any way that allows others to download, extract, or redistribute it as a standalone file or resell any modified format of the content.

How do I edit the animation?

After registering on lottiefiles.com you can simply drag & drop the JSON Lottie file format on this page. A direct link to open the animation is usually also provided.

What properties of the animation can be edited?

You may customize colors, disable layer visibility, set the speed and size of the animation. Full editing capabilities are available in After Effects with the provided source file.

How do I display the animations?

If you are planning to implement the animations on your website the simplest way is generating a short html code in Lottie Web Player. A wide variety of plugins and extensions are also available for platforms such as WordPress, Figma, Webflow… to display Lotties. For other platforms check out LottieFiles’ GitHub page.

How do I order?

No registration required, simply add Lottie animations to your cart and procced to checkout. Prices are listed in USD. Due to payment processing fees the minimum order is $5. LottieFolder don’t have access to or store your payment details, it is handled by Paddle. Download access is provided immediately after payment.
